Irrigation System Audit

It's a fact - landscapes will change over time. Trees will grow. Shrubs will be added or removed. Lawns and gardens will be modified. As your landscape changes, your irrigation system needs to change with it to ensure that everything is getting watered properly.

It's a fact - irrigation systems change, too.  They age and as they age, nozzles and moving parts will experience wear. You may not notice any problems with your irrigation system until brown spots start to appear in your lawns or you notice that your gardens are not growing as they should.

A CIDC audit**  of your irrigation system, on a regular basis, is a useful tool to find and provide solutions to potential problems.

Newly installed irrigation systems should also be audited to ensure they are operating at their full potential.

A CIDC audit** consists of 3 steps.

Step 1
  • testing irrigation system
  • collecting system performance data
  • surveying the landscape
Step 2
  • analyzing the data collected in step 1
Step 3
  • recommendations for improving irrigation system efficiency
  • watering schedule(s) for each irrigation system zone

** All damage to, or misalignments of, the sprinkler system must be repaired prior to CIDC conducting the audit.
